About Spark & Seed

A public-benefit learning project.

We are building free, practical AI and financial literacy for young people—designed to earn trust through useful teaching, careful boundaries, and visible transparency.

Our mission

Help young people learn, create, save, and invest responsibly.

AI literacy and financial literacy increasingly overlap. A student might use a chatbot to explain compound growth, encounter an AI-generated investment video, or receive a convincing voice-clone request for money. Young people need both sets of skills at the same time.

Spark & Seed teaches a repeatable habit: pause, check, decide. The goal is informed judgment—not fear of technology, fascination with trading, or dependence on a tool.

Public-benefit purpose

What we optimize for.

01

Free access

Core lessons and tools stay open without an account, paywall, ad, or product pitch.

02

Education before engagement

No streak pressure, return leaderboards, trading excitement, or manipulative growth loops.

03

Privacy by default

Collect less, explain clearly, and use fictional data whenever the lesson allows it.

04

Visible uncertainty

Separate facts, assumptions, simulations, and jurisdiction-specific information.

Organization status

Pre-launch, stated plainly.

Spark & Seed is a working name for a pre-launch educational initiative. It does not claim registered charity status, incorporation, tax-receipt eligibility, named partnerships, or regulator endorsement.

We will not accept donations or present the project as a registered Canadian charity unless that status is verified and published accurately.

Governance & transparency

What must be verified before launch

Before a public organizational launch, this page must publish the verified legal organization name, jurisdiction, incorporation or registration number where applicable, registered or service address, directors or governing body, conflict-of-interest process, financial reporting approach, and a monitored contact channel.

Material content corrections should include a review date. Funding relationships and potential conflicts should be disclosed. Educational material should be reviewed by qualified educators and subject-matter professionals without implying regulator approval.

Contact statusEmail reaches us at hello@sparkandseed.ca, a monitored address on this domain. A verified service address, legal organization name, and registration number are not yet published, because the organization is not yet incorporated. Those must be added before public launch. No contact form is used anywhere on this site.
